Oral
The oral method of communication for deaf has a long history, and focuses on the user's sound production and recognition. Most effective with students with residual hearing and post lingual hearing loss. In a classroom setting, the student is most likely placed in a mainstream school, with speech therapy, as residential oral schools are rarer now.
